Very busy, had to wait for a table, but staff were very efficient and we were seated quickly. Served by pleasant, personable staff, nothing too much bother, even though they were rushed off their feet. Food very tasty, good selection of bakery for afters. Loved the coo themed decor, with milking clusters used as lighting fixtures. Slightly pricy, but quality is excellent.

Good lunch, great service as it was very busy but it was really hot indoors, they could do with putting on the air conditioning as the staff also looked a little hot

Discovered The Coo Shed during our trip to Ayr last April and so glad we did! Wonderful cafe with great food and the milk so good. Definitely worth a stop for anyone traveling in Ayrshire. Looking forward to our return visit this September! Just another note- returned in October and got a bottle of milk to use during our stay. Brought home our Coo Shed bottle and makes a great souvenir for storing our cream at home! Update: Returning to Ayr in a few weeks in later May and sent them a message to request an order to pick up. They were super responsive and answered my message at 10:00pm! Accepted my advance order and were so helpful! Can't wait to return and have their wonderful milk and baked goods!

Absolutely fantastic place to eat food was delicious so were the cakes lovely gift plants and fresh milk shakes and cakes absolutely fantastic

We ordered afternoon teas to takeaway and they are simply delicious! Good selection of sanwiches, wraps, cakes and more. They even catered to a fussy eater in our group so plain sandwiches and wraps provided.

Myself, hubby and Mother went for lunch today to The Coo Shed. We had to wait in a queue for around half an hour but thankfully there are stone benches for people who can’t stand for long. (My elderly Mum). Service was fabulous, our waiter was Declan, lovely guy! The food was absolutely delicious, Mac and Cheese, Fish, king prawn and crayfish Macaroni, chocolate milk shake, white chocolate cheesecake and apple pie. Lovely atmosphere and spotless toilets. Great place.

I went today with my 2 daughters & we had a lovely meal. The service was top notch from Mags. You know you have a good server when the kids remember their name. Had some lovely home made cakes as well & the milkshake vending machine. Over all a great experience & we will be back. Thanks MAGS your an asset to the coo shed

Great location, easy to find. Only visited the 24hour milk machine. Delicious milk with loads of flavours on offer. Ice cream machine was cool!. I’ve a big sweet tooth so had to try a couple different traybakes! But unfortunately the chocolate on the bakes didn’t have a nice taste and let the overall taste down.
